This is the personal website for Neil MacGillivray, a textile artist based in Perth.

My first solo exhibition at Birnam Arts has now come to a close – 19 pieces sold so I’m very happy with the result.  Thank you to all at Birnam Arts and everyone who visited, and purchased, in making this exhibition a success.

I’m pleased to announce that my first solo show ‘Strips and Stripes‘ is on at the excellent Birnam Arts and Conference Centre, Birnam, Perthshire opening on Saturday 11 January 2020 at 2pm and on until Saturday 29 February 2020.

Taking cues from topics as diverse as geological features, road markings and contemporary tapestry weavings along with abstract landscape images based on his many days walking in the Scottish mountains, this is an exhibition of new pieces, many of which are for sale.
